Spoiled Food
Last night my roommates and I were sitting at our kitchen table having a few laughs when we decided that we were pretty hungry and never really ate dinner. So Emma got out her celery and peanut butter, I got out my apple slices and saltines, and Amanda got out her chicken nuggets and hot sauce. These food selections were made only after finding many spolied things we couldnt eat in our fridge/pantry. Emma's milk was expired, my block of cheese had mold on it, and Amanda's chips were stale. As we munched on our snacks we started to talk about how much we miss eating at home. There was always a jug of milk and orange juice ready to go in the fridge. The endless amounts of cereal were never stale and always good for the taking. We never had to worry about weighing our apples to see how much they were going to cost, or making sure we had enough sugar to bake cookies with. All those resourses were at our hands at home. Thanks to our mothers we were always well taken care of. But we decided to make the best of the situation and think of all this buying and choosing our own food as a learning experience. The funny thing is, we are actually considering adding Albertsons gift certificates to our christmas lists this year.

Yes, go Macey's! That's where we always used to shop.
