All of the employees that work in the Deli are girls. So we are known as the "Deli Babes" by our fellow employees. A lot of people work there and at first it was hard to memorize all of the faces and names of all the other employees. Now I know most of them and they know me! It is so fun to be known as a regular up there now. I love not being the new girl anymore. I rarely ask questions anymore and I have pretty much gotten the hang of everything.
If a customer asks if they can have a skim vanilla iced latte with a double shot, I know exactly what to make! Coffee drinks took forever to memorize but after making a million of them and asking a million questions, I got it down. I am also a foam master! I can make really great foam for cappocinos. One thing I can't understand is how people like these drinks so much. But thats a whole different story.
So you are probably wondering, have you seen Robert Redford yet?? Well, yes actually we brushed hands. haha! I handed him his receipt. To which he signed under the "Redford" account. I have seen him 4 times now. He sneaks up sometimes and just pops his head in every once in a while to check up on things. We had an employee meeting the other day and he addressed us. He talked about the expansion of Sundance and how we are all doing a really great job. It's pretty neat! That is the only celebrity sighting of mine so far. Hopefully I will have some really cool story to blog about in the next couple weeks during the Sundance Film Festival!
Here are some fun pictures from work!
