Where Elephants Fly, and Time Stands Still

Disneyland really is the happiest place on earth. Kate, Amanda and I drove down to southern California for the weekend to get away from the snow and to spend two days in Disneyland! I have never spent two days at Disneyland so it was a whole different experience for me. I am used to cramming all the fun into one day.

Disneyland will never get old to me. I could go there everyday and love it just the same. We rode just about every ride except for the Snow White ride because that one scares me.

I have been to Disneyland a lot and almost never see too many characters walking around. For some reason there were a ton of characters all around the two days we were there. Even Mickey was in plain site! Usually he hides in his house in Toontown and you have to wait in an hour line to get a picture with him.

One of the first characters we saw were Cinderella and Prince Charming. I wish I took a picture of Prince Charming because he was so attractive! haha! Right as we were about to get to the front of the line they had to leave! The next two days we were looking for him and any other Princes we could find. We realized that the Princes get overlooked a lot. You can't buy anything with a Prince on it without his Princess with him. What girl wouldn't love a porcelain statue of Eric in his cut off jeans and unbuttoned white shirt? Or a picture frame with all the Princes on it? They don't exist.

Another new thing for me in this Disneyland experience was that I actually watched the night parade! My family never watches the parades. We think it is a good time to ride all of the rides when people are saving spots on main street for the parade. Since we were there for two days we decided to take the time and watch the parade. We got to main street a half hour before it started and sat on the curb. The parade was amazing! The music, dancing, floats, everything! It was magical.

My favorite quote about Disneyland is the one that hangs over the entrance as you walk in.
"Here You Leave Today, and Enter a World of Yesterday, Tomorrow, and Fantasy."
So true :)

You got a turkey leg! Hahaha that is so disgusting. When we went to Disneyworld with Showbiz years ago, I was hanging out with JD and he got one and I teased him for it. You are such a savage. I told you Cinderella's prince is the hottest! I am going to see Disney's Princesses on Ice next month and I made a shirt with him on it.

So when are you gonna take me and Avery? Seriously, we need to plan it. When's the best time of year? You say it and we're there!
