A Good Day

Yesterday was a good day. You know when you get into bed and you just feel happy because the day could not have gone better? That's how I felt. Nothing spectacular happened, but nothing bad happened. It was just nice. The temperature got up to 58 degrees and it was sunny all around! I had my windows down and Damian Marley playing. Favorite song right now- "And You Be Loved".

It was a pretty normal day. I got up, went the gym, studied, and went to class. Then after class I got a call from my dear friend, Andrew Bonin. He is a freshman at BYU and I know him from Danville. He called to see if I wanted to go to J Dogs with him for lunch. I didn't even have to think twice about it. It was sunny and warm out and I was starving. So I picked him up from the Library and we drove down there.

Has anyone been to J Dogs? If you haven't been, I HIGHLY recommend it! I don't even like hot dogs that much but I love these! For $3.50 you get a soda and polish. It is kind of like the soup nazi from Seinfeld. The line for these dogs is always really long and you have to order fast and have your money ready. Then you pick up your hot dog and say, "Polish and sauce". J Dogs has a "Special Sauce". I don't know what it is or what its made of but its amazing. It is nothing like ketchup or mustard. It has a brownish redish color and it is sweet. And sooooo good!

So we got our hot dogs and sat on the grass. Yes we sat on the grass. In the sun. Not a speck of snow to be seen. We just sat and talked and laughed. Andrew makes me laugh more than anyone. Well, I always say that about everyone but he does make me laugh a lot. He is a good friend and I am going to miss him when he leaves for his mission in a few months.
