I love Will Smith's song "Summertime". It explains some of the aspects of summer perfectly! It is the best "lay by the pool" relax song. I was listening to the lyrics closely and thought I would share some with you because after all, it is Summertime.

Well, this summer so far has been GREAT. I have made a great group of friends and we hang out most every night. We do the funnest activities! haha! I know it sounds lame but seriously, I have never had this much fun during college. We have been playing the best games, taking walks, riding bikes, eating otterpops, laying by the pool, sidewalk chalk, and having great late night convos.







One game we play is called "Penalties". Everyone writes down a penalty on a piece of paper and puts in into a pile. Then we play a series of card games. The last person to lose every card game has to pick a penalty out of the pile and HAS to do it. Some of the penalties we have done in the past are: swirlie, get chocolate sauce poured all over your face, drink a mystery drink from anything in the fridge, one of the guys had to put on a girls swim suit and model it, tie dye your arm, and just gross funny things like that. It is the most intense game when you are trying to get out! It is so funny watching the penalties. Last night I picked the swirlie and I had to dip my hair in their toilet...gross.

Another game we have been playing is "Sardines". I think everyone knows this game. We turned off all of the lights in our guys friends house and played in the pitch black! It's scary! But so fun! After, we climbed the roof and star gazed! We thought it was a great idea until we realized that we didn't know how to get down...haha!



Then just the other night we all put on random clothes and wigs just for fun. We took pictures in them and then didn't know what to do. So we went outside and decided to make up skits and preform them for each other. Girls against guys. It was hilarious! We both ended up doing skits that were making fun of each other.





Last Sunday after church, we went up Provo Canyon and had a nice picnic at Vivian Park. It was a beautiful day and I finally got to use my cute Martha Stewart picnic basket set that my sister, Laurel, got me for my birthday! Thanks La! It was a hit!!




I love Summertime. It is the greatest.
