Dadaruso

Today is my Dad's 50th birthday!! I cannot believe my parents are getting so old! They both don't look a day over 32.

I want to dedicate this post to my wonderful dad. If any of you know my dad you know what a great guy he is. Not only is he HILARIOUS, but he is incredibly smart, witty, caring, and loves the gospel. He has always been such a great example to me. Here are just a few I love about my dad.

-His knowledge. My dad knows everything about everything. You could ask him anything and he would know the answer plus a 20 min story involving details of that answer. Road trips are the best with him because he talks the entire time and you learn so much!

-His humor. He always knows how to make you laugh. Even when you are mad at him he will say something silly and you can't help but crack a smile. Especially me, because I laugh at everything he says. Our family has way too many inside jokes because of him. "Where ya kids headed?" "I'm lost...Round Hill Country Club?" "Let's take ol Joe to Lapards" (Only my family will understand those quotes.)

-His meat cooking. Our family loves meat and we eat it probably every sunday. My dad has been cooking the meat ever since I can remember and it is always perfect! Medium well, just how we all like it.

-His crazy hobbies. My dad has about 1,000,000 hobbies. I could write a book about all of them and he is great at each of them. Whenever my dad tries something new, he perfects it in about a day.

-His job. I don't know why his company hasn't made him president because he is amazing at what he does! He is the hardest worker in his firm. He travels everyday and is always prepared for meetings and conferences. He is very charismatic and everyone loves him. And he works so hard to support his family.

-His taste in music. I owe all of my love for Frank Sinatra to him. Some of my favorite memories of my dad are when we would drive in his car with the top down blasting Frankie for everyone to hear. He also loves quite a few new bands as well. One time I got a call from him when he was in London for work. It was really loud in the background and I asked him where he was. He yelled, "I am at the John Mayer concert!" He went by himself, in London, to John Mayer. Enough said.

-His sense of style. Or the lack there of. My dad goes shopping every 10 years. Literally. We have to drag him to the mall to buy clothes for him. And even when he has new clothes he still wears the old ones. Most of his wardrobe consists of shirts he has gotten for free from clients and work. His new love: camo from Cabelas.

-His love for my mom and our family. My dad genuinely cares about each of his kids. He always listens to my problems and gives me the best advice a dad can give. He loves my mom and I love when I see how much he loves her.

I love you Dad. Thank you so much for all of the hard work you do for us. You are such an amazing father and I hope my future husband can one day be at least half the man you are. Thanks for always being there and for always making me laugh.
