Critical Mass

On the first friday of every month Provo bikers all get together at the court house on center street. There are mountain bikes, street bikes, beach cruisers, tandem bikes, and mini bikes all grouped together to make the biggest bike brigade in Provo. Kate and I decided to join and be apart of this fun event. We bundled up head to toe and rode our beach cruisers down to the meeting place. In total there were about 250 people all on bikes. It was awesome. At 5:30 pm we headed down the UA (University Avenue) taking up an entire lane. I loved seeing everyone's confused faces as to why there were hundreds of people all biking down the street. We stopped traffic at multiple stop lights and had so much fun doing it. Kate and I will definitely be back for the December addition of Critical Mass. Hopefully it won't be too snowy and cold.
