It takes me about a month to get used to writing the new year on papers for school. I always write the year before and then have to erase and write the real year. It's a vicious cycle.
With a new year comes new year's resolutions. Oh those resolutions, that without a doubt never get taken seriously and never get accomplished. It's sad actually. I have my staples every year: lose 10 pounds, get better grades, write in my journal every night, read my scriptures more, recycle...things like that. This year I have decided to go a different way with my resolutions. I know what my staples are and what I constantly need to be working on. But I want some resolutions that will actually get done this year. I want to be able to say, "Yes! I accomplished all of my goals!" So I am going to make them a little easier/more fun.
1. Go to Disneyland atleast once.
2. Read atleast 2 non school books a semester.
3. Don't pick off my nail polish right after I paint my nails.
4. Listen to the news on the way to school/on the way home.
5. Bake something new every two weeks.
6. Sing in the ward choir.
7. Make atleast 2 friends in each of my classes before midterms.
8. Send a birthday card to each of the Danville Darlings throughout the year.
9. Go to cycling 2-3 times a week.
10. Learn to sew. (Meems- can you help me with this one? thanks.)
Bring it on, 2009!

Those are great goals!
By the way, if you lost 10 pounds the wind would blow you right over.
