same old, same old.

Don't you hate it when someone asks you, "How are you? What's new in your life?" and all you can say is, "Not much. Same old, same old." Well, that's me right now. Same old, same old. But I decided to really think about some new things going on in my life as of yet. So here's a little update on me.

...I have found a new love for almonds.
...I just downloaded some of my favorite Broadway tunes.
...Spring is almost here, hopefully.
...I am 90% sure I am going to China in the fall for 4 months to teach little kiddies English.
...Winter semester is almost over.
...I can't get enough of ZUMBA at my gymnasium.
...I am currently reading Nicholas Spark's new novel, "The Lucky One", and loving it.
...I can't wait to see the movie, "Duplicity". Clive Owen-marry me.
...I am 21 in a month, and still single. Go me
...My sister, Laurel, and her family are temporarily living in Huntsville and I love seeing them.
...I got drug tested for my work last week. It was a great experience, ask me about it sometime.
...I sang a solo in church on Sunday. and wore a really cute skirt.
...I really want tickets to Wicked. thanks.
...My sister, Meriel, is having a baby girl. can't wait!
...I have 6 weddings to go to this summer. six. count 'em.
...I am a bridesmaid for two of them. I will catch the bouquet in atleast one.
...Jack Bauer, Jim Halpert, Chuck Bass, and Derek Shepherd put love into my life.
...I am officially lazy at driving stick shift. I stalled 3 times today. I have not done that since I first got my car.
...and I dream about summer every night.

That's me right now.

Oh Rach, you're darling. First of all, I am so happy to hear you are heading to China. Going abroad is such an amazing opportunity to soul-search and something I think all 21 year-old women (single or not) should do! It is good to learn who you are in the eyes of another culture, and perhaps that way you can be more truly YOU before you meet "him."
Second of all, do not for a second think you aren't the greatest, most funny, single, yes, 20-something out there. Please don't let your fellow-crazy Utards around you sway you from that!

xoxo
