Rachel's Life In Provo.: contest.

Kate and I drove to Arizona this weekend for our roommate, Amanda, and her day of marriage. We had 9 hours to kill on the way there. We listened to a million cds and talked for hours about different things. But by far the best thing we did was our "TV Heartthrob Contest." You are probably thinking, "No you didn't". Yes, yes we did.

It took a good 45 minutes to come up with the ultimate winner of best all around from our favorite present day TV shows. I will walk you through in steps of how we came up with him.

Step 1. Name all cute boys from each show.

Gilmore Girls: Jess, Dean, Logan

The O.C.: Ryan, Seth, Luke, Johnny, Volchuck, Zach

One Tree Hill: Nathan, Lucas, Skills, Mouth, Steven, Owen, Jake

Veronica Mars: Logan, Duncan, Leo

Gossip Girl: Nate, Dan, Chuck

Friends: Tag, Ross, Joey, Chandler

Step 2. Consolidate.

Gilmore Girls: Logan

The O.C.: Ryan

One Tree Hill: Jake

Veronica Mars: Logan

Gossip Girl: Nate

Step 3. Characteristics.

Logan Huntsberger:

pros- rich, smart (Yale), spontaneous, determined, so attractive, charming, brave, caring.

cons- bad temper, easily jealous, over protective, slacker

Ryan Atwood:

pros- good heart, turned his life around, great kisser, pulls off the wife beater look with flying colors, care's about his future, family guy, hilarious in his own way

cons- fighter, bad communicator, jealous, bad temper, criminal record

Jake Jagielski:

pros- responsible for his actions, caring, cute, great communicator, good at basketball

cons- left without a word, child out of wedlock.

Logan Echolls:

pros- passionate, determined, brave/protective, rich

cons- rude, bully, slacker, crazy family, yellow xterra

Nate Archibald:

pros- very nice to everyone, goals/ambitious, attractive, classy/gentleman, smart

cons- flakey at times, bad family, easily influenced

Ross Geller:

pros- hilarious, very smart, responsible, looks great with age, ambitious, sweet/caring, good dad
