The Hunger Games. If you have not heard of those three words I reccomend you get to a Borders or a Barnes and Noble QUICK and read these books. I just finished the second book called, Catching Fire. It was brillant and I loved it to say the least. I dragged it out because I didn't want it to end. The third book doesn't come out till August 24th and I am kind of freaking out. The second one ended on such a cliffhanger that left me wanting more!
The story follows a girl named Katniss and her journey through the "Hunger Games". It is set in the future and the whole world is destroyed except for this one area called Panem. There is a Capitol and a President that controls the whole area. When I say control I mean they control everything these people do. There are 12 districts and most everyone is poor except for the people that live in the Capitol. Each year a boy and a girl are picked from each district to compete in the "Hunger Games". It's a little gory but basically these kids fight to the death, the last one alive wins and their district gets more food than the other districts for that year. It is so interesting and you become so close to the characters. I won't say anymore because I don't want to give anything away. Just take my word for it. Read it. Love it.

haha! i loved those books! i am so excited for the 3rd one. :) Oh and the silk market looks so fun! i want to go there!

LOVED these books. I try to drag them out, but it didn't work. I'll just have to re-read them before the 3rd one comes out!!
