jiffy.

I spend a lot of time in the baking aisle at the grocery store. It's kind of my favorite place in there. Most times I don't even buy anything. I just love looking and drooling over all of the yummy things I could potentially bake with all of the ingredients and mixes in that aisle. My eye is always drawn to the little blue and white boxes that say "Jiffy" on them. Then I look at the price and think to myself that it's really cheap and it must not be very good. So I quickly skip over them to the Betty Crocker mixes or the Bisquick boxes.

Yesterday was different. I looked at these "Jiffy" boxes and there was a mix for oatmeal cookies. I was hungry at the time (I don't recommend being hungry while grocery shopping) and oatmeal cookies sounded delicious. It was 79 cents, so I thought, what the heck, I will try them. I went home and made them. Just added butter and an egg and popped them into the oven for 10 minutes. It was such a little box but it made a dozen cookies! When I bit into the first chewy oatmealy cookie I was offically converted. Good thing Kate got home soon after and helped me eat them. Seriously, so good and so cheap!

So happy I finally discovered this.

I make the muffins ALL THE TIME! They only make about 6 muffins which is always perfect. The kids love them and so do I! I have never tried the cookies so good to hear your story.
