week in review.

I've had quite the week! It started a little over a week ago when we threw a dessert party at our apartment for Kate's birthday! After slaving away in the kitchen all weekend we had a bakers dozen of treats. I made my first batch of Cake Balls! Which turned out lovely and delicious. Go here to see the recipe/my new favorite blog. We had quite the turn out and there was fun had by all.


Then I jetted off to southern California with my mom and bro for a sunny weekend full of mickey mouse, shopping, and good eats. This is our 4th annual trip together to Disneyland just the three of us and it never dissapoints. The weather was a gorgeous 75 degrees all weekend which only made me wonder, once again, why I go to school in Utah.





Tonight my sister and her cute daughter Avery come to town and I cannot even wait to see them both! It's been almost a whole year since I saw them last! Yay!
