222222.

No, I am not two-hundred and twenty-two thousand, two-hundred and twenty-two years old. But I am twenty-two! I can't believe it. That sounds so old to me. I still feel like a freshman in college. But I'm a senior! I could be graduated by now (taking my time...) but I am not. So so crazy how time flies.

I had a splendid birthday! I kind of had a rough day the day before (I won't bore you with those deets), but all my birthday events made up for it! It started with a final at 7am...Asian History...it went great! Then I came home and went straight into bed to sleep for a few more hours. I awoke to a Sonic Dr. Pepper with vanilla from Kate! So nice of her! Then she told me to take a shower and get dressed because she had a birthday surprise for me!

First stop- JCW's for some onion rings and milkshakes for lunch! So yummydelicious. Meg Ras walked in and surprised me with her presence! So happy to see her and have her there. Then we drove just a little bit to the Tulip Festival at Thanksgiving Point! I was soooo excited! Kate and I have been wanting to go every year so we finally did it! It did not disappoint. So beautiful! We took our time walking, chatting, taking pictures, and laughing together through the gardens. It was great. SO windy though- my dress was flying up every two seconds. I am pretty sure people saw parts of me that should not be seen in public. Whoops, sorry Utah County.

That night we went to Cheesecake Factory for dinner. Chicken marsala and red velvet cheesecake...nothing better. My guy friends Drew and Davey showed up fashionably late in their hawaiian shirts to embarass us...seriously so awful. They loved it. I did not. But we had some great laughs.

Great birthday overall. But wait! It doesn't end there (do I sound like an infomercial?). I am currently en- route to BEIJING CHINA. I am sitting in the LAX airport waiting to board Korean Air and surrounded by Asians. Already loving it. I can't wait to be in my old stomping grounds in Beijing. It's going to be great. A week full of KFC spicy chicken sandwiches, girl time with my mom, my aunt, and my grandmother, silk market shop till I drop, mantous, the great wall for my 3rd time, cheap mani+pedi's, not being able to communicate with anyone, being stared at because of my blonde hair, and yummy fried noodles. It's going to be great.

Zaijian until next week!
