Dad: On my way! Sup - r we dining?

That's when I busted up laughing and decided to just call him. "Sup"?? "r"?? haha...then our conversation proceeded like this...

Rachel: Hey Dad, so where do you want to go for dinner? Kim and Sydney might come too is that ok?

Dad: Kimbo! Yeah of course they can come. Let's go somewhere cheap maybe. Like that hot dog stand, "The Dog" or something?

Rachel: "J Dawgs"? Ok yeah that sounds good we can go there if you want!

Dad: Well maybe something healthy. Name off some healthy restaurants.

Rachel: Ok...well there is Zupa's. That's like salads, sandwiches, soups. Then there is Guru's and that's different and good--

Dad: Yeah, that Zumba place sounds good! How do I get there?

Rachel: You mean Zupa's? Well you go down University Parkway--

(interrupted) Dad: What about Rodizio's? That meat grill?

Rachel: Rodizio's? We don't have one of those but we have a Tucano's and thats the exact same. But it's not healthy and its like $19 bucks a person.

Dad: No yeah that's perfect! I meet you there in 10.

Can we talk about how he went from J Dawgs, a hot dog SHACK, to Zupa's, a healthy alternative, to TUCANO's, an expensive allllll you can eat meat restaurant. I was dying of laughter. Called my mom and sisters to tell them the tale. So classic Jeff Holt. I love my dad so much. What a guy.
