the haps.

So here's whats been happening in good old Provo lately. It will be super sunny and nice one day and then chilly and rainy the next. So forget about planning out the week because the weather is being very bipolar. But sometimes I secretly love a good rainy day. Then I have an excuse to come home from school, get into my pjs, and pop in Gilmore Girls DVD's (that I bought in China for $40 bucks...all 7 seasons!!). But too many rainy days in a row can get a little old...

---Anyway, besides the rain, I have been making the most out of my spring. Wanna see?

First of all, my mom is taking a class with me for spring quarter at UVU. Utah History ya'll. It's so fun to have her there every MWF! She is the most intelligent lady ever and loves school so she is just sitting in and taking the class for fun. I am TAing for my teacher in the fall so he let her just sit in without having to audit.

It was my Grandma Allen's 80th birthday a few days ago. We had a big dinner for her at The Roof restaurant in SLC for her. It was fun to have almost everyone there and celebrate my wonderful Grams. I love her so much.

The new craz at the Holt House is the newly renovated golf cart. They drive it everywhere. Even to church. Embarassing a little? Nope.

The China girls needed a much overdue reunion. So we had a little dinner/sleepover/pig out sesh/laugh till we cry/china memories get together. It's amazing how it feels like we never left China. We are still the best of friends and we always will be. Wo ai ni.

A bunch of us friends had a bonfire up Provo Canyon! It was a little chilly and the boys struggled to get the fire going, but it was a really fun night! We roasted mallows and starbursts, listened to some guitar jams, and Davey even juggled fire torches!! I love new friends and old friends.
