On Saturday and Sunday my friends: Kim, Syd, and Will, came up to stay too. Even though the weather wasn't ideal, it was still a great time.
On Saturday, Kim, Syd, and I went to dinner at the Shooting Star. It's the oldest bar in Utah, located in Huntsville. They have the BEST burgers and root beer this side of the Mississippi. The place was pretty crowded, complete with adults dancing to western music around the pool table, classic. Then we came back, went on a bike ride, and made scotcharoo's for dessert. Tasty.

On Sunday, we had a very nice time at church. Then we took some flowers over the Grandpa Allen's grave over at the cemetery. We rode in style on the golf cart.
We came back and started to cook up a delicious meal for Sunday dinner. White chicken enchiladas, mexican rice with tomatoes, and some very addicting chips and salsa. The enchiladas were so good, that even Price (the pickiest eater alive) licked his plate clean! We went for another bike ride just before the sun went down and to work off some of the mexican food calories we just consumed. Then we gained all of those calories back when we came home and made a chocolate cookie pazookie with cookies 'n cream ice cream. This weekend was all about the food.
My parents got home that night, ready for the memorial day festivities to follow the next morning. Momaruso made pop-up pancakes (German pancakes) for breakfast and we all sat around the table listening to Dad tell lengthy stories about work and such. Gotta love Jeff Holt stories. For the rest of the day we washed 5 of the 6 cars in the driveway, swam in the pool, took the doo's out on the lake, ate Gran's chocolate sheet cake, and played a competitive game of croquet. Mom was in last the whole time, and somehow ended up winning the whole game. It was a delightful weekend and I was so happy to have some great friends there with me.
Check out us girls with our iPhones...our hands laced exactly the same.

Pazookies! I OD on those things. How fun that your parents have a house in Huntsville. Chads parents had a cabin up the canyon but it was more like camping lol.
I love that you play the same random backyard sports as we do! I love Croquet!!
Can't wait to come to Utah and have my days revolve around food and fun. Hope you can join me a lot.
