House Hunters. Selling New York. House Hunters International. Curb Appeal. House Crashers. My First Place. Property Virgins. My First Sale. This is HGTV. Possibly my favorite channel on television.
House Hunters- 11:00. House Hunters Internatinal- 11:30. Todd and I watch these frequently. Not only do we watch them, but we look forward to them. House Hunters, if you have never seen it, is about a couple that is shown three houses by a realtor and they choose one of the houses at the end of the show. Not only is it exciting to try and guess which house they choose but it is also hilarious watching them go through each house. Some of these people kill me. The things they notice and the things they don't notice are sometimes so funny.
Todd and I talk about them by first name (like we are just good friends with them). One of the first episodes we ever watched was about a couple named, Mark and Julie. They were buying a vacation home in Thailand. They chose the absolute WORST house out of the three they looked at. Todd and I are still angry at Mark and Julie for that decision to this day.
I am also learning so much about owning a home! I will be so prepared one day when looking at houses to buy. I will say things like, "Oh, this kitchen has great counter space. Look at the newly renovated backsplash!" or, "I don't know if I like this master bathroom. It is a little outdated." or, "It's a short sale? I guess we have a lot to think about..." haha ☺

HGTV is absolutely my favorite channel. And I love house hunters. They always choose the worst house!! What's with that???
Rachel, this is hilarious! My boyfriend and I do the EXACT same thing with House Hunters, and I am always left wondering "who the heck ARE these people??". Haha. They always choose the worst house, and some of the comments they make are so hilarious--either like over the top snobby, or so clueless. Love it! HGTV is such a good time!
