Stake Institute

Well it's that time of the week again. Tuesday night. One of my favorite nights of the week. Why may you ask? Because on Tuesday nights I not only get to strengthen my knowlegde of the gospel but I also get one of the best free meals ever! On Tuesday night at 7:00 my roommate Amanda and I head on over to Stake Institute. It is held in the Law Building at BYU and our whole stake is invited to come. We have been every Tuesday night for the whole year. We plan our whole day around it and make sure not to miss it. The Professor is really good and we love his lessons. (even though he goes over almost 20 minutes everytime). Not gonna lie sometimes the lessons are a little dry and we get a little bored and anxcious. But what keeps us going is what comes at the end. The Professor's wife and two other ladies prepare refreshments for everyone that attends. Yes it's bribery and boy does it work. These refreshments are not just some lousy brownies from a box. We are talking full on 4 course meals. Last week it was Hawaiian Haystacks! Other meals have been cornbread and chilli, spaghetti and garlic bread, beef stroganoff, chicken noodle soup, tacos, and more! And they are always served with bread of some sort, fruit, cookies, and glasses of water! These women are so awesome to do this every week for all of us! Atleast 60-80 people show up everytime! It is crazy!
