Chadders

The other night Bart's brother called him and told him that there was a new restaurant that just opened in American Fork called, "Chadders". It is an exact replica of the famous In and Out. Curious to see if the rumors were true, Meriel, Bart, Shmike, and I drove up there. We pulled into the parking lot and were in shock. The layout is the same, the tables, the colors, the counter where you order. It was a little scary. The lobby closes at 11:00 but the drive through stays open until 11:15. So we went through the drive through. This is a picture of the menu.



As you can see everything is the same. They use fresh ingredients, real potatoes. And the menu is very simple just like In and Out. The only real difference is the "Stubby Double" compared to the "Double Double". It was late and we were excited and confused at the same time. Could the food really taste the same? Bart ordered a hamburger and fries and Shmike and I ordered some fries too. The fries taste exactly the same! I didn't know whether to feel excited or betrayed. Haha! Bart said the burger was just as good except the they don't toast the buns.

I still have mixed feelings. Part of me doesnt want another resturant to try and be like In and Out but part of me is so excited that I finally have a great burger place to go to! Shmike and I went the next day to try burgers and the lines were out the door and the drive through lines were around the block. The word has gotten out. Someone needs to tell them to toast their buns and change their name. "Chadders" is a pretty lame name. Haha! But anyone who lives in Provo or around there should go! It's in American Fork off of main street and 89. In the Smiths shopping center. Enjoy your Stubby Double!
