Tonight was a very sad night for me. Melinda Dolittle was voted off American Idol. I was so sad to see her go. From the very first epsiodes I thought that she would win the whole show. She has been the only one that was consistant every week. Melinda had the best vocals by far. She always picked the best songs and was so entertaining. I loved watching her! I usually never cry when someone gets voted off because its usually pretty cheesy but tonight I shed a few tears. Jordan Sparks should have been voted off. I got so upset when they told her she was safe. I thought for sure she would have been gone tonight. She is just too immature and does not have the idol image. Melinda has way better vocals than her too. So now its down to Jordan and Blake. GO BLAKE! Even though Melinda was voted off I was really happy for Blake! Not only is he way cute but he is so fun to watch! I always want to get up and dance during his songs. I hope he wins! I am so nervous for next week! I love AI!

Thanks for the recap because I missed it and didn't record it while I was gone. I have to disagree with you though...I couldn't stand Melinda! So glad she is gone. Go Bla-ake, Go Bla-ake!
