Last night in bed I was thinking about all of my Danville Darlings and how much I miss them. I thought back to a time in high school when all of us were sitting in my kitchen talking. We got into the topic of our morning routines and what each of them consisted of. We went through each of our morning routines step by step. We talked about them for at least 45 minutes. After a while we realized what we were talking about and started to crack up. It was hilarious. I miss those times when all of us were together and when we could just talk about whatever we wanted and be entertained. The funny thing is, the only morning routine of my friends I remember is Landra's. Her mom would bring her a cup of coffee and put it next to her bed with a tissue on top to keep it warm. That's all I remember.
It's been two years since we have graduated high school. We haven't all been together since then. I don't know if we ever will all be together again. Everyone is so busy that no one is home in Danville at the same time. Half of them are going study abroad to far away places in the next year and doing internships. We are getting so old! What I would give to have just one more night with all of us. Dancing in a parking lot, music blasting out of the Monty (my car), laughing and singing along.
I love my girls. I miss them like crazy and love them so much.
