The week started out with a girls sleep over at Kim's. Midnight waffles, Step Up 2, and my best friends. What could be better?
All week it was go go go. I was super tired by the end of the week and had to start taking mid day naps. We went to San Francisco to visit Sarah and see where she works. She is interning at ABC studios this summer and living the city life. She even got us into the show, "The View From The Bay"!
A bunch of us drove down to Santa Cruz for the day and ran around the boardwalk riding all the rides! The Boardwalk is way more fun than I remembered!
There was a meteor shower one night so we all went to Sycamore park to watch it. It was more like 2 shooting starts every half hour but we had fun anyway.
The day before Sam's wedding we threw her a little bridal shower. We had a BBQ in Alysse's backyard and played some silly bridal games. It was also 110 degrees that day...
Then the day came when Sam left us single girls and embarked on her life as a married chicka. She looked beautiful in her white wedding dress coming out of the temple with Bryan. They have never looked so happy. The reception was very classy and tasteful, and the cake even tastier.
My friends and I came to the depressing conclusion that this summer was our last when we would all be home at the same time. Most of us will be studying abroad, taking summer classes, getting married, and starting our own lives. I enjoyed every second I spent in Danville last week. So many great laughs. But we also decided that although one part of our lives is ending, another is just beginning! Scary and kind of exciting at the same time. So bring it on world! Show me whatcha got.
