"Have you seen 'Taken'?" This is a common question I am asked when I tell people I am living in China for four months.
The Tuellers are great friends of mine and after seeing this movie they asked me that question. Followed by their worries for me. I reassured them that I would never be as stupid as those two girls and tell random men where I live. The Tuellers told me that they would feel better if I knew a few self defense moves just in case I was ever in a bad situation. They are both black belts and taught martial arts classes. Basically, they are really hardcore. So I had my first of a couple training sessions last week. It was REALLY fun! and REALLY hard. I was sweating up a storm after it was over. They were surprised with how hard I could punch (go me!).
So watch out chinese men...this girlie girl is more tough than you think!

Who'd of thought sweet Rachel could be so stinkin' tough?! She N-A-I-L-E-D IT!! No lie, she is a natural born martial artist. Actually, I'm a little worried now because she is ready to spar and I'll have to spar with her and take her pretty mean punches. She is a lean, mean fighting machine! As Mr. "T" once said, " I pity the fool" who decides to take her on. Go Rachy!!
