stray cats.

Did I mention there are about one billion and one stray cats at my school? Just roaming, hiding under stairwells, meowing and hissing in our hallways, eating out of trash cans. It’s a little repulsive sometimes. But other times, I just feel bad for them. How did they end up at Daguangha? It makes me want to sing “Smelly Cat” always.

Just a few updates-

1. Found a new fav at the night market. Fresh pineapple on a stick. Delish.
2. One of my classes was filmed today. Of course it had to be the one where this one boy- Chase- was sprawled out on the floor for half of it and wouldn’t sit in his chair. Hope the parents like that.
3. I play a simple version of pictionary with my kids the last 5 minutes of each class. They love it and get so competitive. Sometimes they don’t know what my drawings are and I get embarrassed…haha.
4. I discovered asparagus at the Jaijaiyue supermarket and screamed with joy.
5. I am teaching my kids “Rocking Around the Christmas Tree” for the end of the year Christmas performance before we leave.
6. Kim, the Laurens, and I got massages at a nice hotel in the city for so cheap. So relaxing.
7. They turn the heat on in a week and a half! YAY.
8. I talked to a great friend of mine on the phone for the first time in two years! ☺
9. I bought 15 juicy clementines for about 90 cents.
10. I sang a solo in our church meeting a couple Sundays ago.
11. I fly to Beijing in one week to meet my parents and Price! And I get to travel with them for 10 days around China! Cannot wait.
