so long sweet summer.

The summer is officially over. I started school yesterday. I am taking five classes and TAing for two...it is going to be a BUSY semester, but busy is good. I haven't blogged in almost a month and there is quite a bit to catch up on!

Jeff Holt is the Commissioner of Utah Transportation. We had a little family outing to a bridge placement on the freeway in Davis County. I was so ready to see some big machines lifting this bridge and putting it into place...I was wrong. It was a verrrrry slow process. Basically, it was like watching paint dry. Although, it was fun to be with the fam and see my Dad in his element.

I was lucky enough to be a bridesmaid for my dear friend Lauren Warner. Laur and I met in China a year ago and became such great friends. Thank you Laur for letting me share your special day. You were the most beautiful and happiest bride there ever was. 

I took a little trip to Arizona to visit Todd and his family. It was about 2560 degrees but so worth it. We ate yummy food, played marco polo in the pool for hours, played Phase 10, went to a Diamondbacks baseball game, and tried to spend as much time as possible indoors. So fun :)

My Grandpa Allen bought land up in the mountains near Kamas some odd years ago. My family goes camping up there a lot but I have never been without them. Todd and I really wanted to go camping with our friends Dale and Chelsey so my mom told us we should go there! She and my dad both gave us directions on how to find our land. It was only suppossed to take two hours to get there from Provo. Four hours later we were setting up our tents....haha! Let's just say it was an adventure. We had a blast despite the two hour detour. Tin foil dinners, smores, chatting around the fire, being woken up by a herd of 200 sheep and goats, watching the sheep and goats while eating chocolate muffins, and trying to find our way home.

We finished off the weekend with a few days in Huntsville. Price and Dad just got back from Ecuador and brought back a million and one ponchos...the boys tried them on to wear in the rainstorm. Love it.

My first generation iPhone broke...so I got the new iPhone 4!! I was due for an upgrade. I am loving it. Lets just say I am a pretty happy girl right now. For multiple reasons :)
