Halloweekend was a treat. Literally. I ate waaaay too many treats to even count. But totally worth it. I love that Utah celebrated Halloween on Saturday because actual Halloween was on a Sunday. It makes me laugh, but I like it.
We celebrated in Huntsville. On Saturday night all of Todd's married friends came up to eat dinner, play games, and spend the night. There were 12 couples in all and we had such a blast! My mom and I made three different kinds of soups and we had tons of bread. We had chili, clam chowder, and chicken enchilada soup. It was spookalicious. We spent the night playing loud games of BUNCO! and Apples to Apples. Todd and his guy friends are so loud and funny. We were laughing all night.
Todd and I were Smurfs. My mom was amazing and helped make our costumes! She sewed our hats and my Smurfette dress! She needs to teach me her ways so I can do the same for my kiddos. Thanks Momma! Our costumes were so good that we won the costume contest!
